LEADERSHIP

Christopher White’s experience includes over 23 years in the social services industry as a leader, administrator, educator and management consultant. He began his career at the frontline as a direct support professional for the first two years of his career. He then worked every operational position, progressing to become an Executive Director by 2000, where he served for over 13 years.

In 1990, Christopher started his career in human services at Melmark, a then small but now large provider of services for people with developmental disabilities and autism. Along the way he worked for one year as a Director at Elwyn, Inc. in 1999, another large provider of services, before Melmark called him back to serve as Executive Director in 2000. With over 17 years Leadership experience and 13 years of Executive Management experience, Christopher has been involved in the successful development of new programs, restructure of existing programs and the introduction of innovative and efficient systems for residential and day service programs. Christopher was also an adjunct professor of Psychology at Montgomery County Community College for three years, authored a 12 course Leadership and Training Program for frontline managers and is currently completing a manual for frontline managers to be published later this year. With over 15 years of Leadership experience speaking at various state and regional conference and seminars, he is well known by county and state human service officials as well as executives from multiple human service providers.

In 2013, Christopher left Melmark and has formed Forefront Business Services LLC, a for profit business services consulting firm that provides a broad range of valued services for small to medium sized not for profit and for profit companies. Forefront Business Services LLC, with a foundation of servant leadership, is dedicated to individualized attention to each customer’s strategic development.

In 2014, Christopher started his first Future Leaders Today club pilot program at Phoenixville High School. The program has been very successful in developing young men, who once were struggling in their school experience and activity involvement, to young men with foundations of servant leadership, hope and seeking volunteer opportunities and employment. In March, 2015, Christopher formed Future Leaders Today Inc., a non-profit organization created to reach at risk high school youth with the same successful servant leadership mentoring program.

Christopher has his Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Delaware, his Masters in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University and his MBA from Regis University. He also completed the Lean Six Sigma Certificate program with Villanova University. Christopher has been involved in coaching football, basketball and softball with Phoenixville’s little league programs for over 10 years as well as volunteering for the Phoenixville High School football coaching staff in 2013 as a wide receivers coach.
